Please see the attached announcement for the Welding Boot Camp to be hosted at Iowa State University on July 13-18, 2015. This one-week workshop is designed to assist beginning and intermediate agricultural or industrial technology instructors who feel the need to improve upon their welding skills and associated teaching methods. The primary focus is enhancing participants’ knowledge and skills pertaining to theory and fundamentals, consumable selection and usage, and applications of welding. The secondary focus is geared toward examining teaching methods/strategies that increase student participation and comprehension of welding.

For registration, you will need to RSVP with Sara Lundvall at lundvall@iastate.edu; she will then e-mail you an invoice for $400 for the whole week or $100 per day. Your seat will be reserved once we have received your payment. Due to the nature of this workshop, we are limiting the workshop size to the first 20 paid participants.  We will partner with various industry groups to ensure that we are providing you with the most teaching resources that we can find to assist you in the classroom. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
