I am currently preparing for my student teaching experience and have to present a lesson on electrical switches. I was wondering if anyone had any interactive activities to enhance student's understanding of electrical switches. Thank you!
Are you talking about wiring up switches? Do you have a shop or place to wire up things? Are you looking to diagram with them? Do you want to teach parallel circuits?
Thanks for the reply. You jumped two points in Dr. Bakers book for replying. Yes, I am interested in an interactive diagraming activity. Thanks!
Here is post one of electrical wiring.
Thanks for sharing!
Here is post two it has some keys and a ppt.
Here is post three.
Here is number four and the last one.
I hope these a helpful to you. Please let me know if you have any questions or need something explained about them.
Have great day.
Do you have a key for the wiring problems on the Electrical Symbols & Diagraming page? The keys are on here for 1-15.... but then 16-20 are not and thats the wiring part!
Also, do you have a power point that you use to cover some of the things you have in the Study Guide document?
Thanks so much for any help!
I did some cut-aways to show how switches work.
