I am looking for some sample rubrics for selecting chapter officers. Right now we use an interview process and I want to formalize that process a little more with a rubric for the committee to use anything would be helpful.
Michael - Here's the rubric and selection process we use at Sioux Central in Iowa. I put this all on a googledoc and share it with the NomComm and officer candidates so they can track their progress, and also follow. I haven't updated it lately, but you get an idea.
I also attached all of our officer app documents - I give each student this whole packet to read through, fill out and sign before the selection process begins. Our NomComm (usually the retiring Senior officers) write the knowledge test, and they usually just revise an old Greenhand Quiz.
Our Alumni members sit in on the interviews, which ensures professionalism and consistency.
Hope this helps you out!
I like your election forms and applications, any chance you could send them in a word document? firstname.lastname@example.org
This isn't the same as what you saw above, but I have attached our officer handbook that includes an application and rubric.
This is our updated handbook and application. (If you want a word version let me know)
Could you send me a word version of your officer handbook?
Here is the Doc version of the Handbook. FYI the second half is based of the National FFA Officer Selection Criteria.
Does anyone have an FFA Knowledge Exam that they use for FFA Officers during the interviewing process that they could post?
We use two different tests; one for our junior officer team and one for our regular candidates. I have attached both.
Hope these help.
