Two scholarships are available for female agricultural education majors to attend a CASE institute this summer and become certified to teach the CASE curriculum.  To be eligible for these scholarships, each applicant must be:

  • A female agricultural education major who will be completing an undergraduate or graduate agricultural education degree, with all agriculture teacher certification requirements completed, in time to be employed in the summer or fall of 2012, AND
  • Employed to teach at least one CASE course in a public school beginning in the summer or fall of 2012 OR actively seeking employment as an agriculture teacher beginning in the summer or fall of 2012 in a public school where CASE courses will be taught, AND
  • A student member of NAAE during the 2011-2012 membership year and an active member of NAAE during the 2012-2013 membership year.

These scholarships are made possible by the National FFA Foundation ?Impact FFA,? a group of women who support school-based agricultural education.  See the attached scholarship application form for details.  Application deadline is May 1, 2012.  If you have any questions, please contact Miranda Chaplin at mchaplin.naae@uky.edu.
