I am getting a new class and I am looking for textbooks and resources for a wildlife management/biology class. Any really good suggestions appreciated. Found a lot of good things on skulls unlimited. Thanks for your help.
Look into Project Wild - There is an amazing workbook of activities that range from K-12, although you can always adapt and modify the activities for more rigor. The workbook comes as a part of a course in being a facilitator for this program, but most extension services will probably have a copy you can have or make copies from. http://www.projectwild.org/
I'll echo Jessie - Project WILD is awesome. There is also Project WILD Aquatic. Another great resource would be your state department of natural resources (or equivalent department in your state). I've found good articles and resources. Also, check into county-wide natural resources/wildlife agencies. For instance, I was contacted by our county land conservation division and invited them in as guest speakers. For my middle school they had a animal tracks bingo game and had a powerpoint that included pictures and sounds. For my wildlife class, they talked about damage that wildlife can cause on crops and how to identify animals.
