Does anyone have any good Food Science team activities to practice with? Thanks!
This website has 8 really in depth lessons that provide information that is on the written portion of the CDE test in OK & I believe the national exam.
You might email Tommy Milligan. His wife used to make a food sciene CDE kit and sell them when she was teaching. email@example.com However, I just went to the grocery store and bought spices and extracts and dipped q-tips in the extracts or poured spices in snack size ziplock bags and used them for identification practice.

One area that we seem to struggle in is the food safety sanitation photos. Does anyone have any practice sets they would like to share or any electronic copies they might have from old CDE's?

Does have an example of exactly what you do for the team activity? My students and I are trying to figure out how to convert the calories or where we even start after we select what ingredients we need. I have found many practice scenarios but none that explanations or examples of what we are supposed to do? ANYTHING that you could provide or share would help! Thank you!!
