As we are all gearing up for the new school year and thinking about our first units, we often think "safety". Attached is lesson A.1.1. The Role of OSHA from the updated Veterinary Sciences Curriculum. Hope this helps with your planning. Below is the remainder of the unit outline. The entire curriculum can be purchased via the Cornell Bookstore website as a digital download for $150 for approx. 160 lessons, PowerPoints, evaluations and more. There is a lot of content:) There are 25 units ranging from safety to ethics to anatomy and physiology. Many are inquiry based, all are written by agriculture teachers. Also, don't forget to check out the materials list-found in the introductory and acknowlegement unit.
Not for profit proceeds fund admistrative costs and professional development/curriculum outreach.

Also a note-should you choose to purchase, it must be done via credit card only(sorry, we aren't big enough to handle purchase orders) and be sure to download the curriculum within a short amount of time after you receive the link to avoid technical errors.
