International Women's Day

Discussion created by Nina Crutchfield on Mar 11, 2016

National FFA was pleased to help observe International Women's Day this week. Nowhere can the growing impact of women in agriculture be seen more clearly than in their engagement with FFA and agricultural education. Since admitting women into FFA in 1969, the organization is close to achieving gender parity, and this year's national officer team is an excellent example of the important leadership influence women are having in our programs. Clearly, opportunities for women in agriculture are on the rise around the world, and not a moment too soon.
