I am looking to start teaching my 7th grade students the parts/function of plants, but I am really looking for a fun/interactive way to help them practice the knowledge after the initial lesson. Any ideas?
I use an activity from The Inspired Classoom blog. If you google the blog and plant parts and their functions, it pulls up pictures of the activity. The kids like doing it and by drawing and writing, it gives them 2 different ways to learn the information. There are a couple of foldable activities on Pinterest that I have used that my kids have really liked. Hope you have a good day
Hey Judith -
Have you checked out Pinterest? There are quite a few Ag teachers who post some really great ideas for plant science. Well really all parts of Ag education but I've seen some great ones for plant science. It's worth a few minutes of your time if you haven't ever used it before.
