I am a veteran teacher in a new school and it has been 4 or more years since I have taught Ag Mech and now I have two classes. Would anyone be willing to share a course outline or syllabus with me to help get me started? I am going to start with safety in the shop and some basic "here is how to read a ruler" stuff. Thanks in advanced!
Lynn,
Here are a few things you might find useful. Yes measuring and safety is a good place to start... Attached are some things I have collected. I included my AGET 120 syllabus and lab book - The content is good, but taught in the wrong format for you. However you may find it useful.
For safety see: http://www.agedweb.org/courses/aget120/Safety%20Resources.htm
Also the safety guide (safety outlines): http://www.agedweb.org/TeacherResources/Safety%20Guide.pdf
For Project Ideas see: http://calaged.csuchico.edu/ResourceFiles/Curriculum/AgMechanics/Projects/index.htm
Hope this helps,
Mike
