Resources for Middle School Agriculture Teachers

Iowa Beef Council Educator's Page - http://www.iabeef.org/Content/educators.aspx This site provides links to ready-made powerpoints with beef terminology, zip files to download with activities, and some pdf format brochures to download. Although some is geared to elementary, with minor modifications, it can work with middle school classes.




Garfield's Middle School Discovery Site - http://www.ffa.org/students/ms/



This National FFA website is a great tool for introducing middle school students to the FFA. The Komics Zone can be applied to many different learning objectives. Click on "Teachers" for tips to help you in teaching middle school students and tips for using the website itself.
