    Provides state statistics for floral crops. Can be used in a floriculture unit when talking about production of floral crops or where the flowers they use in class actually are produced.

    Great website that provides you with examples and how-to for trendy floral ideals for class projects. Also gives great information about post harvest care of flowers that could be used in a conditioning and storing cut flowers lesson.

    IDEA magazine is a small magazine that gives great ideas for trendy floral arrangements or can be use to show different types of arrangements to students. There are PDF versions of each magazine on this website but you can also sign up to get this magazine at your school free of charge. See below under magazines.

    The Floral Design Institute offers a website that has over 30 different floral designs that many can be done in a classroom setting. They include directions and supply lists for each design in a slide show.

    Florist's Review

    If you don't get this magazine in your class now, you should subscribe to it right away. It has floral information that is up-to-date with great articles about wholesaling, conditioning and storing flowers, deliver of flowers and floral design ideas. It is a great class reference and they offer a floral school program that offers free floral books if you want to go as far as having students sign up for the magazine or you want a classroom set.     This magazine is distributed by Smithers-Oasis Floral Products. Print off this adobe file that has the card to sign up for this magazine. I had all my students sign up for the magazine so they could receive it at home and also had a copy sent to my school so we could have a classroom copy.
