I am so excited to be engaged in the first stages of this exciting journey. Unlike our peers, agriculture educators may often be at a loss for collaborative planning venues in the traditional settings. All too often, we are simply the only one in our school or county. Now, with the technology available to everyone, we can finally stop reinventing the wheel and collaborate to improve our student's preformance and ease our own burdens in the classroom and as CDE advisors.
It is my goal to help you find the resources and tools that can help you to reach every student in your class in an engaging way. I have always advocated a blending of the traditional methods and new technologies to help my students succeed. It is my hope that as part of this community we can all work together to find what each teacher, student and chapter may need. I invite you to add, comment and even criticize as we strive to improve learning for all. Please take a second to answer the first technology poll so that we can all get a better idea of what we have, what we need and where we want to go.
I hope you enjoy being a member of our community!
