Curriculum for Agricultural Sciences Education (CASE) is excited to announce that 170 outstanding agriculture teachers have been selected to receive scholarships to attend this summer’s institutes. These scholarship recipients were selected from a nationwide pool of applicants. Thanks to multiple generous sponsors, the selected teachers have the opportunity to obtain their CASE certifications at little to no cost.

These invaluable scholarships allow teachers to not only expand their curriculum resources and tools, but also allow the teachers to positively impact the lives of their students by opening doors to individualized instruction, with a primary focus on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

"CASE has always been my primary resource for educating students about the science of agriculture,” said Mia Sullivan, agriculture teacher at Heritage High School, in Tennessee, and recipient of a 2019 Cargill CASE Institute Scholarship. “I am thrilled to be able to participate in the CASE ASP training this summer to be able to bring a new pathway to our agricultural education program at Heritage High School. This is an amazing opportunity that Cargill has sponsored not only for me but my students. They will now be able to go beyond the who and what of basic plant science and dive in to the how and why of plant science, and I love that."

With the aid of these scholarships, more students will have the opportunity to experience the science of agriculture and be able to apply the knowledge and skills they gain to their real lives. Thank you again to our sponsors for providing these opportunities to agriculture teachers.
