Hello Ag Ed Community! My name is Miranda Kane. I am a junior at Penn State University studying none other than Agricultural Education. Growing up, I was never really around a lot of agriculture, so it wasn't until I stepped through the doors of my high school agricultural sciences class that I truly understood what agriculture means. Since then, I have been active in the FFA, and have learned so much about agriculture and leadership. I also taught a 4-H summer camp the summer of 2015, giving me a diversified experience in other agricultural youth programs. Each of these experiences has allowed me to fine-tune my true passion which is motivating and educating youth about the importance of agriculture and service. My hope is to connect with several of the followers on the NAAE blog site to grow into the most well-rounded and prepared Ag Ed teacher I can possibly be. Eagerly awaiting the interactions to come!
