Totally Acceptable. . . .

  1. To take advantage of all the fantastic back-to-school sales and teacher discounts happening this summer,
  2. To be excited to start a new school year soon with fresh ideas, new materials, and more,
  3. To already be planning your National Teach Ag Day celebration,
  4. To plan a last-minute weekend vacation just to get away and relax,

Ag Teacher Hack

Organizing Your Materials
Make sure you are prepared as a new teacher. I put each exam in a tote for each class in order. I find out how many students I have and I make copies + 5. I've also started to transition things to Google Classroom.  If you're a one-to-one school, go ahead and set up a classroom and attach all your notes that way you will have them online until the end of time.

-Brittany Kloer, agriculture teacher at Jay County High School, IN
