Ag Teacher Hack
"You know your students better than anyone else. For me, I usually have a deadline in my head for each project. I will have checkpoints along the way where the students have to show me how much they have done. It just helps. For example, maybe the whole project would be due in 10 days, but each piece needs to have a rough draft turned in on a certain day. I use Edmodo for my students and they can upload their rough drafts and I make comments."-Lezlie Durst, agriculture teacher at Canton R-V School District, Canton, Missouri

NAAE Members Shine as "Stars that Rock" Workshop Facilitators During National Science Teachers Association Conference
NAAE members are many things - teachers, mentors, influencers. At the recent National Science Teachers Association conference in Nashville, Tenn., ten of our members donned their National Agriscience Teacher Ambassador caps to present five workshops about integrating inquiry-based teaching methods. The workshops, sponsored by DuPont, were aimed at science teachers - a different, but important audience for National Agriscience Teacher Ambassadors. Click here to read more.
