Promising Practices

Totally Acceptable...
  1. To thank your lucky stars for the occasional snow day,
  2. To already be excited about how awesome your greenhouse sales will be this spring,
  3. To bring in community experts to help your students prepare for the upcoming CDE season,
  4. To do some research and figure out the best way for you to beat the winter blues, and
  5. To take some time to acknowledge your accomplishments and apply for a NAAE award.

Ag Teacher Hack

"The way I look at it -- any publicity is good publicity and the opportunity to tell our story is too good to pass up and too important to be lost in the noise. So, my new year's resolution ( a little late, but better late than never) is to post once a day about the life of an ag teacher on twitter -- all year around."
-Matt Eddy, Southeast Polk High School, Iowa
