2020 SAE Grants Awarded
The 2020 SAE Grants have been awarded—congratulations to the recipients! The list of recipients is posted to the SAE Grants webpage on FFA.org. A notification email has been sent to all recipients. To receive the funds, recipients must follow the instructions in their notice to complete the contract and claim form by Jan. 4. Contact Jennifer Preston, jpreston@ffa.org, with any questions.

212° and 360° Conferences Update
Registration for the 212° and 360° conferences will go live on Jan. 4, 2021. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot provide the traditional facilitated delivery model for these conferences. To meet the needs of states and chapters, we are offering the 212° and 360° conferences curriculum and training to state associations and chapters interested in hosting local, regional or state-level 212° and 360° conferences. States and chapters can register to host their own 212° and 360° experiences starting Jan. 4, 2021, through Aug. 31, 2021. National FFA will provide registered conference hosts with the curriculum and a training video to help hosts deliver the experience. These conferences cost $10 per participant (this cost covers the supplies to be shipped for each participant). Learn more on the 212° Conference and 360° Conference webpages.

 

Become a Part of the Future of Production Agriculture
Only two weeks left to register for the first National FFA virtual production agriculture conference, the Horizon Conference. On Jan. 9-10, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates from across the country will learn from over 25 industry-led workshops, explore farm businesses, and connect. Registration is $10 and is open now. 2019-20 National FFA Officer Retiring Address Lessons
Looking for a great leadership lesson plan with turn-key worksheets? Check out the new lessons designed to help guide students through each of the five National FFA Officer retiring addresses from the 93rd National FFA Convention and Expo.

Funding is now available for 600 members who would not otherwise be able to afford a jacket. Encourage members to apply or nominate a member at FFA.org/giveblue.

 

FFA Scholarship Deadline Approaches
The National FFA Scholarship application is open! This year, we have provided videos for students on how to apply successfully and for advisors on how to validate an application. Access the application and resources at FFA.org/Scholarships. The application deadline is Jan. 14, 2021.

 

Apply Now: Living to Serve Grant 
The Spring Semester-Long Living to Serve Grant opens Dec. 15. This grant provides middle/high school FFA chapters with up to $1,200 to implement a service-learning project in their community for one semester. The application allows you to add collaborators, such as an alumni member, to help you complete it. Access the application and resources at FFA.org/LivingToServe/Grants.

Remote Development Conferences
To continue to offer FFA advisors, staff, alumni and supporters an opportunity for educational development and idea sharing, National FFA Alumni and Supporters is offering interactive Remote Development Conferences through Zoom. The first online event of 2021 will be held February 8-11 from 4-5 p.m. EST. For an agenda and Zoom meeting information, visit www.ffa.org/gotordc or email alumni@ffa.org.

 

2020 FFA Alumni and Supporter Grant Reports 
Thanks to the generous support of Nutrien Ag Solutions and Tractor Supply Company, 76 grants were distributed in 2020 to start or improve FFA Alumni and Supporters Chapters, partner student and adult members on special projects and to help fund student affiliation fees and classroom materials. All grant recipients are required to submit a report form by Feb. 1, 2021 to be eligible for future grant funding. For a complete list of grant recipients and copies of the grant application and report forms, visit www.FFA.org/alumnigrants.  The first-round of 2021 grant applications are due by March 1!
