$1,200 Living to Serve Grant Now Open
FFA chapters can apply for up to $1,200 to support semester-long service-learning projects that address community needs in one of four focus areas: community safety; hunger, health and nutrition; environmental responsibility; and community engagement. Apply at FFA.org/livingtoserve/grants by Feb. 3, 2020. Email the Living to Serve team, lts@ffa.org, with questions.

External Communications Contractor
The contractor will be responsible for developing high quality and innovative communications that contribute to the NAAE brand and NAAE programs. The contractor will be responsible for providing whatever office space, equipment and software is needed to render the required services.

2020 CASE Institute Scholarships
Generous contributions from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), in partnership with the Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) and the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA), as well as Cargill and the CHS Foundation through the National FFA Foundation, are providing partial CASE Institute scholarships.

The deadline to apply is February 29th. Scholarship winners will be contacted in April. Click this link to view the complete CASE Institute schedule. 2020 CASE Institute Registration Now Open
CASE is excited to announce registration is now open for the CASE Institutes, which will be held this upcoming summer! For more information and to register for a CASE Institute, please click here.

Many CASE Institutes’ registrations filled quickly last year, so teachers should be sure to register as soon as they have secured the appropriate funding. Please note that any registration canceled within 30 days of the start of an Institute will be subject to a minimum $250 cancellation fee. Contact CASE Digital Learning/Certification Coordinator, Sara Cobb, regarding any additional questions.

2020 Teach Ag Kit Host 
Teachers and teacher educators interested in being one of the many Teach Ag Day kit host sites for the 2020 National Teach Ag Day celebration are encouraged to submit their interest at this link no later than April 5, 2020. Selected sites will receive a celebration kit, valued at $100, to use on September 17 to engage directly with the National Teach Ag Day live webcast. Go to the interest link for more details. We are looking for at least 100 secondary and post-secondary sites, preferably one in every state.

Vets on Call
Presented by Zoetis, the Veterinarians on Call YouTube channel features real-life vets doing a variety of tasks. In this episode of Vets On Call, Arndt Farms is a family farm still operating more than 50 years after it was founded in Illinois by Ed Arndt, Sr. Now Ed's teenaged granddaughter Katie is stepping up to learn livestock farming and help the farm succeed, making her the fifth generation Arndt to practice farming.
