Agricultural Education Inclusion Feedback Requested
The National Association of Agricultural Educators, the National FFA Organization and the National Teach Ag Campaign are seeking input from agricultural educators, agricultural education state staff, teacher educators and stakeholders who are willing to contribute to a meaningful and solutions based conversation taking place regarding diversity and inclusion in agricultural education. Information provided through the survey and from focus group sessions held during National FFA Convention will be used to develop meaningful and purposeful diversity and inclusion strategies aimed at achieving the goal of ensuring agriculture classrooms reflect the school and community in which they reside. Responses may also be used in the area of academic research. Click here to access the survey.
Cooperative Education Program Coordinator Position Available
NAAE is seeking a full-time Cooperative Education Program Coordinator. The position will begin January 2, 2018. Applications will be reviewed upon arrival. The position will remain open until a qualified candidate is selected. Click here for more information and to apply.
NAAE Communications/Marketing Coordinator Position Available

Apply for the 2018 Teach Ag Intern Position!
The intern position will start in May 2018 and the end date will depend on performance, but may last until April 2019. The intern will be stationed out of the NAAE office, located on the University of Kentucky campus, in Lexington, KY for eight weeks during the summer. The remainder of the internship will be completed remotely. Applications are due by Sunday, January 7th, 2018. Click here for more information and to apply.

$400 Day of Service Mini-Grant Available For National FFA Week Service Events
Is your FFA chapter planning to host a service event during National FFA Week in February? Apply for a Day of Service Mini-Grant by December 31st to help with logistical costs. To learn more about the grant and access the application in English or Spanish, visit www.ffa.org/livingtoserve/grants.
Please note: For Day of Service Mini-Grants, when you should apply is determined by the date of your service event. Requirements for event dates have been updated, effective with applications submitted in December 2017. 2018 CASE Institute Registration Now Open
CASE is excited to announce registration is now open for the twenty-five CASE Institutes, which will be held this upcoming summer! For more information and to register for a CASE Institute, please click here.

Many CASE Institutes’ registrations filled quickly last year, so teachers should be sure to register as soon as they have secured the appropriate funding. Please note that any registration canceled within 30 days of the start of an Institute will be subject to a minimum $250 cancellation fee. Contact CASE Operations and Outreach Director, Miranda Chaplin, regarding any additional questions.
