Vets on Call
Presented by Zoetis, the Veterinarians on Call YouTube channel features real-life vets doing a variety of tasks. This week, Dr. Travis Henry sedates Wellington, the horse, and takes x-rays, which show a fractured, decayed, infected tooth and abscess. The tooth needs to be removed before the infection spreads to Wellington’s sinus. Click here to watch the video.

Blue Buffalo to Support the National FFA Organization in Partnership with Tractor Supply Co.
From now until Oct.1, for each 30-lb. bag of Blue Buffalo Adult Chicken & Brown Rice, Adult Lamb & Brown Rice or Adult Large Breed Chicken & Brown Rice purchased at Tractor Supply Stores nationwide, Blue Buffalo will make a donation to the National FFA Organization. Click herefor more information.
Attend a Workshop During National Convention
If you are coming to convention this year, set aside some time to attend a leadership workshop or two. Workshop schedules are now posted online; both advisor and student workshop schedules and descriptions can be found on FFA.org/events/convention/schedule (scroll to the bottom of the page). Thirty-seven teacher workshops are being offered, in addition to those provided through the DuPont Agriscience Institute. Thirty-eight unique student workshops will be delivered—several offered multiple times—for a total of 93 student workshop opportunities.
Free Program on Feeding the World
How will we sustainably feed 9 billion people by the year 2050? Check out Journey 2050. Students in grades 7-12 learn about sustainable agriculture. Everything is provided, including curriculum-based lesson plans, videos and games. Teachers can register at www.Journey2050.com and access the entire program.

FFA platinum sponsor Tractor Supply Company (TSC) has partnered with the National FFA Foundation to promote the future of agriculture by selling 2017 National FFA Convention & Expo-themed shirts in stores across the country this fall.
