The National Council for Agricultural Education


To be the collective leadership voice for Agricultural Education in the United States.


The mission of The National Council for Agricultural Education is to establish high quality agricultural education programs in America’s schools by stimulating:

  • the preparation, retention, and advancement of high quality agricultural educators; the development of programs that prepare students for academic and career success;
  • program innovation and adaptability in response to changing student and industry needs;
  • the use of research-based practices in agricultural education programs at all levels; and
  • expanded opportunities for students to experience high quality educational programs in agriculture.

2014 NATAA Applications Now Available
The DuPoint National Agriscience Teacher Ambassador Academy provides agriculture teachers the opportunity to learn how to incorporate more science into their curriculum to make learning fun and challenging for students. The ambassadors will also conduct workshops at National FFA Convention and NAAE Convention to help other teachers learn how to be more effective in the classroom. Summer Internships with NAAE
We have opportunities for agricultural education majors to intern with NAAE next summer in communications, professional development and advocacy. Applications are due December 18. Follow this link for details.
