Here is the FFA Point system I have used the past couple of years. It is pretty easy to follow. I have our FFA chapter secretary update the chart every month.
Here is my point system. Along with the point system is my handbook for student and parents. I have it on our school website. If you see anything you would like to use it, go right away. What do you do with your point system. I have one and I tally the scores, but I don't ever use it.
I was reading through this and saw that you asked how they used the FFA Points System. We have a points system and we use it for Leadership Awards at our banquet. The top five get medallions (gold, sliver, & bronze) and the first place winner gets a plaque. The students strive for these awards!
I have been wanting to start a FFA Point sytem and wasn't sure how to go about it. We keep track of all of the activities that the students participate in and so therefore, I think it would be very simple to put points on these activities and put a little more competition into our chapter....not that we lack in this department at all!!!!!!
Thanks for all of the ideas!
We keep our point system pretty simple, 1 pt for each practice or proficiency working time, 2 pts for other chapter activities and meetings, 5 pts for CDE contests or regional events, 10 pts for state events, 15 pts for national events. The students with the highest point gets a participation award at our banquet. We actually do one participation award for officers and one for the other members.
